Perspectives from Solo Boomers
This is an important
and timely topic. As a
soloboomer and life coach, after taking this survey,
my clients and I found the survey provided useful awareness
and triggered another question and action step - "What
can I do now that will serve me when I am older and
make aging a rewarding experience?"

For me, being single is
an acceptable and comfortable
life, though not a conscious choice. Education
and
career choices became more important to me than
actively finding a partner. Not becoming a parent
naturally followed, when relationships remained short
term. Today, I find it disconcerting that I'm
considered “middle-aged” and living a lifestyle
that’s
considered odd for someone my age.
